Take look at this post on a site titled, hilariously, 'Informed Comment': http://www.juancole.com/2007/05/ft.html. It argues that former Yugoslav president Slobodan Milosevic is to blame for an alleged plot to attack a US army base in New Jersey, despite his having died more than a year previously. Four of the six alleged plotters are ethnic-Albanians from Kosovo, who, we are told, have turned to 'radical fundamentalism' because of 'the attacks on them of the Milosevic fascists'.
Links between foreign radical Islamists and local Muslims in both the Bosnian and Kosovo conflicts have always been downplayed or ignored by liberal commentators, who don't want to tarnish the image of those victims for whom Nato went to war in the Balkans. They will happily argue that intervention in Iraq has led to terrorist attacks against the US and UK, but how to explain an attack by those the West intervened to save? Oh yes, of course, Milosevic did it! He probably supplied all Saddam's WMD as well.
